Our Warrnambool Education Tutoring Program team is seeking new volunteers who enjoy supporting young students learning.
Is this you?
Warrnambool Education Tutoring Program is a vibrant and exciting community that supports students in grades 3-6 who need a little extra help with their academic learning and social skill development.
This assistance is provided via a weekly tutoring program with one-on-one support for homework tasks and reading commitments, as well as fun educational games and group activities.
The Program operates every Tuesday afternoon during school terms, from 3:30pm until 5pm, at St Pius X Primary School in West Warrnambool.
Whilst there is no requirement for previous tutoring experience, we ask that you have excellent knowledge of the subject and be prepared to volunteer weekly for a minimum of 6 months.

The St Vincent de Paul Society aspires to be recognised as a caring Catholic charity offering ‘a hand up’ to people in need. We do this by respecting their dignity, sharing our hope and encouraging them to take control of their destiny by providing practical support, advocacy and friendship. The Society is one of the most recognised and highly regarded charitable organisations that has been providing support to Victorians for 160 years. We operate over 100 retail shops throughout Victoria, commonly called 'Vinnies' that raise much needed funds to support those who are vulnerable in the community.
Please note that prior to engaging in any Volunteer activity with the St Vincent de Paul Society some checks are required. These will include a National Criminal History Check and current Working with Children Check and may also include reference checking.
