Grovedale Vinnies - Donations and Sorting Volunteers needed!

Our super star team of volunteers and staff at Grovedale Vinnies are inundated with the amount of generous donations we receive from the community, to assist with the ongoing work of Grovedale Shop and the Society. Our shops ongoing efforts contributes to the good works of the society to provide financial and material needs of some of the most vulnerable people in our communities.
We are currently recruiting for energetic Volunteers to assist in our warehouse/ sorting area with receiving and organising donations that are received at the back of the shop.
There are many aspects of the shop for you to get involved in including:
- Receiving donated goods from the public
- Setting up and moving clothes bales
- Organising donated items for display
- Assisting with sorting and pricing items
- Keeping the store looking great and creating a positive customers experience
- Assisting with moving furniture
You will be provided with on the job training and our friendly team is more than happy to assist with any questions you have, and will build lifelong friendships.
More specifically you will have:
- The ability to positively engage with people from all walks of life
- Excellent communication skills
- A “Can do” proactive attitude and positive team spirit
